Baby Delaney is here. She was born 12/28/08 at 9:13PM. She is a professional athlete already 8lbs 12oz and 21.5 inches long. The first measurement was 22 inches and they said "I have to remeasure, that can't be right". Baby is doing GREAT!
Libby still feels like garbage from all the pain meds from the C section. Hopefully by tonight her stomach will calm down. She is tired of laying in bed too.
We made a new folder under PHOTOS and added a video under VIDEOS.

Though Libby's stomach is upset, she is doing well. Now 5-6cm and baby is dropping perfectly. That is all for now.

The Doctor just broke Libby's water. So, the hope is the contractions will get stronger. Mom and baby seem to be doing well.

Libby is doing great. No pain yet. We are still waiting. Delaney is stubborn like her mother.

    37 WEEKS
Delaney is continuing to grow and gain weight during these last few weeks. Also, she is practicing breathing movements in preparation for the outside world. She will also turn her head toward light and sound just as a newborn would. Around this time your baby's head must be down, (her head is down). By the end of this week, your pregnancy would have come full term. Delaney can be born any day now. She is anywhere from 19 to 20 inches long and weighs approximately 6.5 pounds. We can't wait to meet you Delaney!!!

GGUL:  Lib - Seems like just yesterday you were a little girl, running around my back yard and today you're having a baby. Time flies. Look forward to hearing when Delaney is born. Can't believe you're going to be a mom - and I'll be a great, great uncle!

Mark and I went and had maternity photos taken today (36 weeks). It was a lot of fun and the pictures turned out great! We can't wait to take Delaney back to get her photos taken.
