Delaney and I started Stroller Strides this week. It is an outdoor class where the Moms exercise while pushing their kids around in their stroller. Let me tell ya....it is NO STROLL IN THE PARK!!! My face stays red for over an hour after the class is done. I am sure the high 80 degree temperatures have something to do with that =) Laney loves watching everything that goes on and Mommy loves the workout.

Update on Delaney @ 9 1/2 months old:
-she is crawling ALL over the place
-a bottom tooth popped up and now both top center teeth are coming in (broke the gum yesterday)
-she is saying "dada" (gonna be honest, I am bummed is is not "mama", but listening to hear say "da da da da" is AWESOME)
Comments:Grandpa Tilly: I think you misunderstood her..... Grampa, Grampa, Grampa........Add a comment:

We took Delaney to her 9 month check-up today. I posted her weight and height in the stats box on the home page. She is in the 95% for weight and the 81% for height. She is a very HEALTHY and HAPPY baby girl.
So quickly things change. Delaney is attempting to crawl a little more each day. Today at nap time, she fussed/cried longer than normal. After about 30 minutes or so, I went in to check on her and she was standing up in her crib!!! I am pretty sure she was standing there a while (whoops) and did not know how to get herself down.Comments:Add a comment:

9 months old and still not crawling. We think she will actually skip it all together and go straight to walking. She will stand, holding onto things, and walk. She is getting pretty good....and brave.
Comments:stacy: Your probably right, a lot of babies just go straight to walking. They are all so different. I was worried because Aiden didn't start finger feeding himself until just this past weekend. Laney keeps getting cuter by the day!Add a comment:

So that tooth that I told you about last week.....it has not even budged. It is still barely poking through the gum.

So.....for months we have been saying any day Delaney could get her first tooth. I didn't get my first tooth until I was 9 months, so it is no surprise that she is 8 1/2 months old with no teeth. Although, the past week she has been chewing on her fingers and drooling. Today while visiting Daddy at the fire station, I thought I would take a look at her gums. Lo and behold, SHE HAS A TOOTH starting to poke through on the top!!! She is not to thrilled with me looking, so I doubt I will get a picture anytime soon. I will sure try though =)

Last week we took a family trip to Carlsbad, CA. It was such a relaxing trip. The weather was GREAT and we did so many fun things. We all had a great time.

6 1/2 months later.....Delaney's blocked tear duct is GONE!!! It cleared up literally overnight. I am just SOOO excited! At 2 1/2 weeks old, Delaney's right eye started watering constantly. It would be gooey and crusty in the mornings. Sometimes the poor thing would wake up with one eye open because her right eye was glued closed =( I was always wiping her eye with a kleenex, wet wash cloth, burp rag (clean of course). I just felt so bad for her. The pediatrician gave it till 9 months to clear up on its own. If not, she would have had some minor surgery to unblock it. I am glad to report it has cleared up on its own.
